Our school held its annual Chinese Culture Day on 26th February, with this year’s theme being “Chronicles of Huaxia Mythology.” The campus was filled with a festive atmosphere. On that day, students and parents came to school dressed as mythological figures and in celebratory clothing to welcome the Year of the Horse. The event also invited students from Po Leung Kuk Tang Bik Wan Memorial Kindergarten and Tai Po Baptist Kindergarten, as well as teachers and students from our sister school in Jinan, Shandong, who traveled a long way to join in the celebration.
Everyone listened to mythological stories, participated in fun games, enjoyed comforting glutinous rice balls, painted opera masks, experienced traditional tea ceremonies, and admired wonderful performances. Together, we celebrated the joyous Chinese New Year through diverse cultural activities.
