The “20th Joint Primary School Sports Day of the Po Leung Kuk Tai Po District”, co-organized by our school, Po Leung Kuk Tin Ka Ping Millennium Primary School, and Tin Ka Ping Primary School, was successfully completed on January 15, 2026. The suitable weather allowed students to perform well. In summary, TKPM achieved second place in the P.6 boys’ inter-class for, first place in both P.4 and P.5 boys’ inter-class, and second place in the P.4 girls’ inter-class. Additionally, seven records in the boys’ category and one in the girls’ category were broken. Student Cheung Ho Yiu from Class 5E even broke the 100-meter record for P.5 boys, which had stood for 26 years, while student Chan Chun Yu from Class 5E broke the long jump record for P.5 boys. Furthermore, the boys’ relay team from Class 5E also broke the relay record that had been set 13 years ago.
To encourage more primary students to participate in sports, this year’s sports day included a P.1 and P.2 parent-child relay race, a P.3 60-meter race, a parent-child relay race for kindergartners, and a parent-teacher-student relay race. Every participating parent, teacher, and student enjoyed the day’s events, reflecting the joy of sports and enhancing parent-child relationships.
