The Po Leung Kuk ‘Little Carbon Angel’ Program District Low-Carbon Living Carnival (Tai Po and Fanling districts) was successfully held at Uptown Plaza on 28 March. The programme was funded by the Environment and Conservation Fund and jointly organised by our school together with Tin Ka Ping Primary School, Tang Bik Wan Memorial Kindergarten, Mrs. Vicwood K.T. Chong Kindergarten, and Yip Ng Bun Bun Queen’s Hill Kindergarten.
The event opened with a lively lion dance and student environmental performances. Our STAR Dancers presented ‘Try Everything for Green,’ using dance to promote low-carbon and eco-friendly awareness. The venue featured a ‘Low-Carbon Theatre’ and themed booths on ‘Clothing, Food, Housing and Transportation,’ where the ‘Little Carbon Angels’ led workshops and shared environmental tips with the public—successfully sowing the seeds of sustainability from school into the local community.
