Lower-grade students, have you ever tried shopping on your own? This year, our Primary 2 students experienced shopping independently during their Outdoor Learning Day. They chose what to buy, paid, and collected their own change without any help from family. Through this activity, they learned to be more independent and practiced real-life math and money-management skills, connecting classroom learning with everyday life.
